Key Events Top Picks for the Best Memory of 2015

The last year was packed with over 120 events, but these moments stood out to our team!

With 2016 underway, our Key Events Team takes a few minutes to share their best memories of 2015! From Sailing to Hippies, we had year full of countless adventures shared with various companies, clients, and with our team behind the scenes. And we cannot wait for everything in store for 2016.

Getting Groovy with SF Travel

Natalia“My favorite event was our SF Fam Trip on the Magic Bus! “It was great to see everyone embrace the theme and connect with their inner flower child! It was unreal stopping in every spot where the Summer of Love took place (Golden Gate Park), jamming in a song circle with our own tambourines alongside Janis Joplin and her guitarist, and having hippies dance around us  – it was beyond groovy!”

Iris“I loved shooting Pier 70 at night to captures some special shots for a high end program proposal. The eeriness of the moon and clouds on the steel beauty of Pier 70’s structure was stunning. The best part actually was that we ran into some motorcyclist inside the building and Heather hopped on one of the bikes and sped around the inside of Pier 70!”

America’s Cup – Team Key Events

Tess“Key Events took a day out of the office to race around the Bay on the America’s Cup USA 76 catamaran. It was great bonding with the team as we worked together to get the sails up and get the boat going. It was a lot of hard work but it was a lot of fun with our team.”

“On my third day on the job, I was asked to manage a multi-day program for a destination client. Key had organized our popular Cable Car Dine Around for the group to include wine and beer as we saw the city. We arranged a caravan of six cable cars to tour The City, stopping at three iconic neighborhoods to take in the sights and sample the local culture. We ate Dim sum in Chinatown, pizza in North Beach, and tacos in Mission District before heading to a SoMa reception at 111 Minna Art Gallery for drinks and dessert. Our clients were amazing and the Key Team knocked it out of the park! It was incredible program and the first of many fantastic adventures here at Key Events.

Welcome to Our City!

stephen“After the IMEX conference, we had the opportunity to host our DMS Fam for 4 days in San Francisco. I loved bringing together a large group of planners and exposing them to the best our city has to offer. This trip also allowed us to showcase some of our best vendor partners like Rams Gate Winery who hosted us for a breathtaking dinner on their property.”
