Key organized a full day of team building from start to finish and everything in between.
A technology company was looking to offer a new way for employees to connect outside of the office. Key Events had just the thing for an afternoon of fun, while building skills that translate to business. The client had motorcoaches pick up employees from their company’s location, and bring the group to the lawn at Presidio Park. An activity coordinator instructed the group to werebreak out into teams of ten who then went head to head in challenges like blindfolded trust exercises, and team-centric relay races. Drink carts roamed around the lawn offering company branded sangria, wine and beer while guests faced cognitive and physical obstacles.
The guests worked up an appetite during the activities, and upon completing their quests food trucks arrived to serve savory selections of “Off the Grid” staples from around the city. Employees kicked back on picnic blankets and enjoyed dessert and musical entertainment. But the day was not over. Once they had their fill of food, the bonding continued as motorcoaches transported guests to a local brewery, Thirsty Bear, for happy hour. They were able to enjoy craft beer tastings and enjoy a less structured form opportunity to connect with one another.
