With a mandate to create an inclusive employee event, here’s how we engaged everyone with an all-encompassing summer fun day at San Francisco’s Fort Mason.
Building on over a half-dozen years with the world’s leading digital collaboration hub, we’ve produced about three events a year and established a productive, well-oiled (and dare we say fun?) working relationship.

KEY ACTIONS
Speaking of fun, this event pushed the boundaries in every way, with something for everyone in a 360° summer festival for more than 1,300 employees and their families at Fort Mason in San Francisco.
Our client loved how a group of singles, a young couple or a family of four could all have fun at the same event — and she was thrilled to find that guests noticed those details, as well.
- Negotiated the first-ever indoor/outdoor rental at the sprawling, historic Fort Mason complex overlooking San Francisco Bay
- Pitched in with our own elbow grease and ingenuity to create DIY design touches that décor vendors don’t typically provide
- Created a wide range of activations catering to guests of all ages, from photobooths and video games to Ferris wheel rides
- Enabled an experience true to the boardwalk and the brand
