BRINGING CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY TO LIFE WITH A FUN, PURPOSE-DRIVEN EVENT PLAN

There’s more to event planning than logistics and cocktails. Aligning your events with your brand can be elusive, but it’s the key to making your event’s message live on in the hearts of your partners, employees and stakeholders.

That’s why the makers of the world’s fastest growing business app asked us to help them celebrate their people and culture, while bringing their corporate social responsibility (CSR) values to life beyond the slide deck in infectiously fun and impactful ways.

Working with our partners at the San Francisco venue SVN West, we transformed a shuttered car dealership (and the original home of the legendary rock concert hall Fillmore West) into a meaningful and unforgettable experience for 1,200 guests from far-flung destinations around the world.

KEY ACTIONS

Working closely with our clients is just the way we do business, and we kicked off planning for this event by building a mood board together — ensuring that all of our disparate stakeholders had aligned on concept in a visual and unmistakable way.

Next, the event planning unfolded with everyone on board and no detail left unchecked:

  • Our mobile registration crew greeted attendees with a swift check-in — into a different world
  • Guests could grab a glass of bubbly from the interactive champagne wall while a musician tinkled the ivories of an LED piano
  • A cornucopia of cool experiential entertainers engaged, and of course, took more than a few selfies, with our guests
  • Activations included DIY bath bombs, a Teddy Bear-making station for inner-city kids, a variety of competitive neon games, a custom photo booth experience and a live band to rock our guests into the wee hours
